Moscophoros (Calf bearer)
560 B.C., marble, Acropolis Museum, Athens.
The Moscophoros,the head of Athena, the Kritios Boy and Athena of Angelitou. Statues that revealed all together in 1864 during excavations for the construction of the museum on the Sacred Rock of Acropolis, Athens. Ὁ Μοσχοφόρος, ἡ κεφαλὴ της Ἀθηνάς ὁ Παῖς τοῦ Κριτίου καὶ η Ἀθηνά του Ἀγγελίτου. Αγάλματα που αποκαλύφθηκαν όλα μαζί το 1864 κατά τις ανασκαφές για την κατασκευή του μουσείου στον Ιερό Βράχο της Ακρόπολης, στην Αθήνα.
