Koshkaryova and Moseeva are going to debut as Carmen…thoughts??
It seems to be the season for new Carmens! I think Koshkaryova has the potential to be great. She's naturally sultry and commands the stage with aplomb. She and Tsirko have great chemistry in Don Quixote, so I'd like to see them togeher for Carmen. I also recall that she and Rodkin had good stage chemistry. Moseeva is gorgeous, has incredible plasticity, legs for days, and technically capable, but styliscially she really bothers me. It feels a bit like watching gymnastics on stage. I'm hoping that my opinion of her will change over time…but we'll see. I cannot wait to see these two debuts.
