Nigerian defender Reuben Yem joined Super Eagles duo Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu former Belgian club KAA Gent on a three-year contract from Slovak club As Trencin.The 21-year-old GBS Academy Bukuru graduate which produced the likes of Ahmed Musa, Kalu and Simon ended his association with AS Trencin on Monday night.Gent announced the signing of Yem on the club official website by penning a three-year contract with the Buffalos until June 30, 2022.

Yem move to Europe to team up with Inter Bratislava where he featured 8 times with one assist before moving Trencin
The Nigerian started all the eight matches played by AS Trencin in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League, and racked up 36 appearances in all competitions with five assists to his name.Taiwo Awoniyi, Rabiu Ibrahim and Peter Olayinka have represented KAA Gent in recent seasons.
