I've been collecting rain water for my babies,and I feel like I can see the difference. Wish I had done before and after pics or something. I also used liquid fertilizer for the first time ever (woke up a palm that hasnt grown in idk how long). Started using mosquito bits and dunks in my watering pitcher to knock out my gnat issue too.

You guys have any special tricks or tips?

On the plus side, that did remind me to mosquito dunk the patio pond (that I still haven't been able to drain) and the couple of shrimp tanks in here with no fish in them. I was concerned at first about that, but the Bti and little bits of sawdust or whatever really don't seem to harm the cherry shrimp at all. After I got desperate and tried adding some crumbles anyway, I think it was last year.
