i tried so hard to find a clip of this scene but couldnt and didnt have reference but in the rainbow mist filler arc, zoro is about to fight this guy in an electric mecha suit saying he’ll “cut through his electricity” which nami and usopp promptly said “thats not how that works” then robin, in the most serious tone, asks “can i cut it?” and basically unplugs it from the power source with her df

hilarity ensues as the guy tries to plug it back in, falls into the water, and zoro is left there awkwardly in his battle stance saying “hey..... let me cut something.....”

(honorable mentions: zoro looking at a triceratops and saying “we both use 3 swords style” during little garden and everyone looking at luffy in horror as he struggles to roller skate in the davey back fight)

the 2nd zoro one!!! as an animation nerd, the whole batch of telescope eyecatchers are so good but zoro is my favorite because its an up close animation of his face! you can see each tiny shift in his expressions and they all snap in a satisfying way, i legitimately study this one frame by frame to see how it works so well

crocodile! dude was our first serious arc villian and a terrifying introduction to how really “invincible” logia types are, while the alabasta arc itself may not be my favorite, the crocodile fight was really great and was a good display of luffy’s tenacity

G8 babey this arc was absolutely hilarious and filled with nothing but good times

god theres so many good character designs out there that i cant pick one definitive costume so lets go basic and say any zoro outfit where he has an open jacket/collared shirt like this

coby!! we watched this boy’s progress from day one, he was such a weak but good natured crybaby that any achievement he makes is immensely satisfying and his progress is slow too! hes not automatically on luffy’s level after his “transformation”, his need to constantly get stronger is inspiring and his shining moment during marineford gives me so much hope that he’s gonna climb the ranks and pretty much reform the navy and world govt from the inside out
