It's funny, I have suuuuper bad thalassophobia and while I do get a bit of shivers when you post huge sea guys or deep water, they still make me feel so happy and like I'd love to be their friends, especially the Pendulum Syrinx!! I would probably pass out if it were real but also it looks like it would be so nice to swim by its side... i guess this is a long way to say that your art somewhat helps me with my thalassophobia? It's therapeutic to look at! Your designs are incredibly beautiful

ok i tried to find ethubs fics i haven't posted as recs in the past (though, i'm sure i see you in kudos lists all the time. sorry if these are ones youve already read LOL):

push me away by omashedpotato (hermitcraft): i JUST posted art about this one hehe it had a really well done portrayal of etho and bdubs' dynamic. it makes sure to focus on their push and pull!

one before the other by moobloom_mention (hermitcraft, mentioned life series): this is a really fascinating etho character study about how he handles (or rather, doesnt handle) grief after past life. both of her fics are really well done, if you want something a little more fluffy and ethubscentric i recommend the other one she's done:

redstone revelations (hermitcraft): really good take on the ethubs dynamic. bdubs is kind of pissy in this one and i love when he's pissy for no reason <3 just a nice sort of domestic vibe with typical ethubs fighting

the dark is singing songs by amaranthinecanicular (AU): might be one of the most insane ethubs fics i've ever read. made me feel like i was going to throw up (slash positive). it has robot!etho and nerdy bdubs. it's one of those fics that kind of changes you forever. i think.

find me in the deep end by rimethyme (AU): OK. i actually havent had the time to catch up with this one. its been eating me up inside. but i LOVE Rime's work so i'm sure it's all really good, not just the parts ive read.

rebuilt by roseofaries (AU): this fic is still a WIP but ohhh my god. tangthubs cyberpunk au?? + robot!etho???? its one of the ones i think about quite often.

DAY EIGHTEEN: bdubs' s10 base!

bdubs' builds always feel like paintings to me. his use of color and shape always astound me! if i had more time i would paint his nether hub that he finished, since i just finished his new video and i'm wowed! but i have other responsibilities to attend to, so this will do :-) i'm happy with it despite the short time i had to work!

one of my goals this year for my art is to get better at scenes and backgrounds, so this is a good point for me to start. if anyone has resources or books that changed their art for the better, please point me in that direction! i'd love to do some more studies ^_^
