Second question: on an alternate timeline where we did have a second season (rip💔) are there any episode ideas you would have loved to see in the show/second season?
Third question: Is there anything during the concept development of the show that you would have wished they had kept for the current show? I personally think the storyline of billy/dirk wanting to finish his last album (that might potentially help him to move on) would have been great for story consistency. It would have allowed us to see more characters who worked with him (like his band members) and others within the music industry.

oh my lorrrddd YES!! for being the show's foreboding antagonist, it's bizarre to me how little we see of her. she wants her hands on billy, to put him in a JAR n all - yknow... what boys have to go thru.... being chained up all the time or smth. BUT THATS IT. she knows he's a ghost... HOW THO??? was she into the paranormal prior to his passing, shortly after his passing,,, how did u find him????? "cuz he lives there" AAAAAA ENOUGH!! genuinely needed to see more of her actually doing something. for my own sanity. more emphasis on how weird her parasocial relationship with billy is. what fuels this obsession? . id like to think that madame x gradually, but explosively, grew into her obsession. her introduction to the bjc craft was pretty tame up until she got to see a live performance where her liking would then warp into an intense fixation turned purpose. (hc lowkey inspired by that one fanart made abt a millennia ago - im sure u know the one on my mama i aint scrolling thru 12 years of tumblr posts 💔)
. madame x is a very lonely person with self esteem issues. destructive in regards to maintaining relationships. she has this unwavering, infuriating need for control, and her jealousy is suffocating. she's hyper-independent with an ego that actively prevents her from wanting to understand others. she dubs herself madame x, which i feel is nothing short of pompous and pretentious.
. as devoted as they come, madame x was a major, yet anonymous, figure in the cobra army. she'd do the most to have her image spread and recognized. it's a tall order, but she constantly has her eyes set on getting what she wants by any means necessary. alive, bjc would acknowledge her from time to time when interviewed, by pseudonym only ofc, but that alone was hardly ever satiating.
. she'd send billy fan mail. poems, polaroids and what have you. i don't think billy could ever distinguish one sender from the other though. names are rendered blurred afterthoughts in a heaping pile of paper and cardboard, but their love proved real - name or no name attached. he wasn't too big on remembering names, after all.
. she dabbles in a lot of hobbies - though all of them must relate to billy in some shape or form. her interests are erratic as is her personality, sometimes a bit on the eerie side of things. she's a perfectionist to some degree! or so she'd like to claim. she's artsy, and prideful of the fact despite not being very good at it. hoover isn't allowed to be as honest as he'd like to be.
. big on fashion, absolutely horrible at it. she sticks out like a sore thumb when she's not in full-out bjc cosplay; full-body dresses with spiked leather bracelets. you'd pin her as punk if it weren't for the simplistically clean fabric paired with cowboy boots. there's a severe lack of consistency and it's... certainly a choice. her style is confusing to say the least.
. loves talking to herself, habitually indulging in imaginary conversations with a figmented billy joe cobra. she'll brush her hair in front of her bjc embossed vanity, close her eyes, and talk about her day as if he were there. she isn't too happy when these moments are disturbed - almost ogre-like.
. her hair is not naturally that color. she's not very fond of its original shade, and would rather not think of the memories attached to it when looking her reflection in the face. she has a very meticulous dye routine - very big on self care! her inconsistent sleep schedule begs to differ.
. born and raised in the south. she has trained herself to lose the accent as she finds it undesirable, but it always seeps out when she's angry enough.

A BLAST FROM THE PAST!!!! a peek into how billys life was like from wayyy early into his early career to when he was at the top of his game! im talking GLAM, im talking ENERGY, im talking ANGST, im talking LITERALLY ANY MOLECULAR CRUMB.
. a school rivalry ep!! and i blame you for that one, it's so fucking GOOD. lolo, spencer and the rest of the gang having to set their differences aside to overthrow the competition?? yes please oml the jokes, the dialoggguuueee OoOOUUuUuUuUU.
. a stormy weather power outage episode where the wright's are stuck indoors and tell each other spooky stories or get themselves involved in wacky hijinks to pass the time! they've had plans of their own prior to all that, but learn to enjoy spending quality time with one another and even ditch their plans to be together after the storm passes. very cliche, but i love this family dearly. anything to see more of them on screen!
. a 'spencer and jessica' bonding episode! moreover, a 'jessica finding out abt billy' episode! she's a cobra cousin, she deserves to know!! a cobra sister is what i really want though. we hardly know anything about jess except for the fact that she's sporty. there has to be more to her than that! she's a clever girl. i have no doubt in my mind that she'd catch on to spencer's secret all on her own. she's probably already aware that something is amiss. there's a lot of potential in a narrative where spencer tells his friends about billy, but not his own sister. they don't seem that close, but maybe that could change!
. a 'spencer and billy making a song togeths' episode! imploring the hypothetical would-be team to actually put that musical talent aspect to good use and MAKE AN ACTUAL SONG. A GOOD ONE. NONE OF THAT SAD BIRD BLUES OR "IVE SEEN PRETTIER FACES ON A NAKED MOE RAT". YOURE A SUPERSTAR WITH A ROSTER FULL OF AWARDS. ACT LIKE IT. IDGAF IF THE LYRICS R SILLY JUST GIVE ME A GOOD BEAT. YES YES YES YES YES YES YEAUSH!!!!! oh my staarrzz that album concept was such a missed opportunity! gives the episodic structure an overarching plot, and who doesn't love a good narrative? if anything i CRAVE!! i love me a good character development for everyone included, and i just know finishing the album would have been a feat. so bittersweet. <3
i would have loved to see the people involved with billy when he was alive. theres so many stories to tell and it's such a huge stinkin bummer that nothing was done. the tools were right there! it's just a matter of setting everything in it's place.

. another og concept that i wish remained, or at least traces of it remained, would have been goth enthusiast jessica. hmo, it would've been super compelling if that were to be a hidden interest of hers. she's a very one-note character in the current iteration, which is a shame considering her close ties to the main protagonist. though, it's not like we got to learn much about any other character up in this thang.
honestly, i would have appreciated any gothic undertone in dtmg like past projects were meant to have. not that there's anything wrong w beverly pop & prep, but there really isn't anything that stands out either. in terms of identity, most if not all of what this show is known for is the boy and his dead popstar of a ghost.
. hoover was also meant to have a larger more prominent role. madame x would've been a ghost lurking within the cobra estate, and although it's not much of a strong preference, i am a little curious as to how they would've gone about this.
