How do you ask someone without putting them on the spot?
Cause when I ask things, for example, "can I sit with you?" to my friends, they could think it'd be mean/rude to refuse (I'd have absolutely no problem, that's why I'm asking, but I dunno how they feel), and so say yes, even if they don't feel like it
How could I change my wording to make it feel less pressuring to say yes? And more likely get people to be honest?
