Hello! I have a question, what is your view on people heavily referencing your art (w/o credit)? There is someone on twt who has a very similar art style as yours, along w artworks that look almost identical to ones you have made in the past. They also weirdly like the same exact characters you used to draw often back in the day, drawing/colouring super similar to your techniques at the time. I’m not trying to cause any drama but I wanted to know if you were aware. I also have examples of the artworks that look suspiciously similar (in character, composition, art style) as well, if you’re interested. Have a good day!!!

I’ve used to go talk to people who do it a little too blatantly but nowadays I try to avoid any confrontation in hopes they’ll soon find it counterproductive to try to imitate something they don’t understand the process of or the thoughts behind it. Cannot deny it’s hilarious when it’s the same character depicted in a similar situation and a little flattering that someone chose to believe they can’t think of something better than what you’ve done aha.

In short, I do not approve of such behavior, it’s harmful to one’s own art growth. Whether someone else wants to address the issue to the person in question is up to them, however, I will not get involved in that neither I do approve of an aggressive approach to it.
