hi guys i’m moving back to college on saturday! i’m getting my own apartment so i’m filling that shit to the brim with latest obsession: plants
#mostly succulents#but i have some really pretty non-succulent varieties#like this one plant has green leaves with lighter green and the back of the leaves are a faded shade of purple#they're SO pretty#and the leaves have a sort of pattern to them that makes them look like a plant on a plant#it's actually so pretty#i'll have second thoughts about buying myself a $1.30 bottle of soda to get me through my shift but then i'll turn around and buy a $22#plant#but my succulent collection is insane#i have a nice variety of them i've collected over the past ~9 months#they're just so beautiful#nothing gets me out of bed like watering my succulents#i even like just standing and staring at them for a lil bit#like i'm a stardew valley NPC#but having my own space is going to be so exciting#like my father is the worst to live with#my roommates over the fall semester hated me for simply needing to use the kitchen sometimes#like otherwise i feel like i was mostly out of the apartment til like 10 pm at night bc music major#felt so nervous to even use the kitchen#and the 2nd girl i lived with was so much nicer but she had such a lack of awareness over how loud she was being#like im talking yelling while playing video games until 3 in the morning no joke#nothing made me angrier.#i knew she was trying to be quiet and that it was jsut heard for her to control her volume over the headset but it was just so hard bc of my#early classes#kaya rambles
