In an interview or something, I guess Ohkubo said that he was working on the final volume of Soul Eater, which consisted of four chapters (with 109 being the first). I don't know the actual source, though. I sort of found out secondhand.

Wow! O-O  Huh, I guess I’ll have to go find it!  I don’t know- it just sounds a little fishy to me because only 3 chapters left= about 80-90 pages?  I know it sounds like a lot, but considering that there seems no decisive upper hand as of yet in the fight, and when I think about how much usually happen in each chapter, the fight will have to be pretty rushed to finish this up.  And if there is any sort of moral/ epilogue at the end (which most mangas usually drop in at the end), it will either have to be rushed or it will be non-existent.

But that’s just my opinion.  Thanks for the info!

Nabari no Ou its extremely good, but, in my opinion, short-lived.
