Somehow they managed to go out of the room and enter the mess hall.When they reached there they were hesitating as they were expecting to see their friend lay dead.But when they saw the body they were astonished to see that their was another girl of their class who lay dead.A feeling of relief and astonishment held them.On asking other mates they came to know that the girl got up midnight from bed and was feeling thirsty so she went to the hall.After few seconds her roommate went to the hall in search of her roommate and found her dead.On hearing this, three of them started to think about Lyra and decided to face her.So each of them took something or the other as a weapon and slowly opened the door.When they opened the door they were shocked to see Lyra totally fine.Everything was fine in the room.The cat was alive and there was no blood anywhere.Three of them were so shocked that they started to think about the things that had experienced.But one thing they were sure that something strange was happening in the college.So they decided to investigate in the matter the next morning.They could not inform the authorities as they had no proof regarding the incidences that took place.So they went to sleep but as Riha was scared to sleep in her room so she decided to sleep with Nori and Raila.

In the morning when they woke up and went to see Lyra,she was totally fine.So they asked her about the previous night incidences.But to their surprise she did not remember anything nor she was aware that a girl was dead.On hearing the incidences Lyra was dumbstruck as she could not believe that she was acting weird the previous night.She started crying and became scared.She told them as she was on medication so due to the strong dose she was deep asleep.After consoling Lyra four of them headed to the college for more details in the matter.They finished their classes and decided to go to that corridor where they found the rat and the chemical that day.They searched for the rat everywhere but could not find it.On asking the sweeper about the chemical he said that the chemical was dropped accidentally by the professor named Astana Dhillon who happened to be the chemical laboratory in-charge.So they went to the professor and asked about the chemical.But the professor was so rude that he immediately dismissed them by saying “Don’t put your nose in my matter.Go to your classes or I shall immediately inform the Principal about you four wandering in the college during the class premises”.On hearing this they immediately fled from there and went to the canteen to eat something.Suddenly two boys approached them asking about their class notes.Those two boys also joined the class late.Their names were Palash Daya Firki and Dev Jhingra.Both of them were innocent.Due to their long cumbersome names everyone called them PDF and DJ. Raila was fond of DJ and Nori was fond of PDF.Both of them admired the boys secretly and used to spend hours talking about them.But the boys were also good friends of the four.So they also discussed the incidences with them.At first the boys were finding hard to believe but then the behaviour of the professor compelled them to believe.They found the professor suspicious and so decided to break inside his house and investigate.The girls did not encourage it at first but then Lyra asked them to help her so they agreed.

At around 11 o’clock they sneaked out of their hostels somehow.Six of them met outside the professor’s house in the lawn.They were thinking of a plan to enter the house.Suddenly they saw the professor going out with his car so they got an opportunity as the professor lived alone in the house.So they entered the house smoothly.They searched everywhere for some evidence but could not find one.Suddenly the cat of the professor jumped on Lyra ad started scratching her.Nori immediately took a vase and broke it on cat’s head so the cat ran away.Due to this Lyra started shivering ans so she took a pill which was prescribed to her by her doctor.After taking medicine she became fine.Then they decided to search in groups so as to make it quick.The groups were made as-Nori and PDF,Riala and DJ,Lyra and Riha. Nori and PDF searched the study room,DJ and Raila searched his bedroom, Lyra and Riha searched the bedroom.

When they were searching the bedroom Riha found a file in which it was stated that the professor was suffering from a disease named Collifor and the a medicine was prescribed named Soti.She was not understanding anything as the medicine and the disease was completely new to her.As she was asking Lyra if she also found anything,Lyra did not answer. Riha found it strange as she was completely fine a few minutes ago.On approaching her Riha screamed as again Lyra looked exactly like the previous night.This time she grabbed Riha and was strangling her to death.Hearing the scream everyone immediately ran to the bedroom.PDF and DJ somehow managed to take Riha out of Lyra’s captive.Then all five of them started running here and there.Lyra threw a giant sculpture on DJ and he got injured badly.Then Raila knocked Lyra down and managed to get DJ out.Seeing PDF Lyra grabbed a chair and started to beat him.Immediately Nori came to rescue and managed to fight Lyra. Nori hit Lyra so hard that she blacked out.Suddenly they heard a car honking.Quickly Nori managed to take PDF,Riha and Lyra out as after all she was her friend.All six of them managed to escape before the professor’s arrival.When the professor entered the house he got very angry as the whole house was messy.He immediately called the police to look into the matter as he was doubting a robbery.

Meanwhile Lyra was taken into the hostel and put to bed.Five of them then gathered in the lawn and opened the file to read.On seeing the terms in the report DJ googled it and showed the results to them. Everyone were so shocked that they literally felt the ground been swept away under their feet.What was the disease they found on google?What was the medicine actually?What happened suddenly to Lyra that night?

On google it was written “Collifor is a kind of disease in which the patient starts shivering on seeing something so scary that reminds of their past incidences.In such a state the patient is neither able to speak nor react.Moreover the brain stops working momentarily and the patient goes into an unconscious state.”Then DJ googled about the medicine and found that “Soti is a rare medicine which the people took in the 18th century to minimize their fear and to gain strength.However there are many side-effects which includes eyes becoming red,hands and legs start bleeding,person goes into an unconscious state for a moment and after the effects erases off he/she unknowingly undoes the things which they did in that state”.Seeing this everyone began to think that some other alternatives might be there for such disease as Soti had more bad effects than the good ones.They even decided to ask Lyra about her past so that they can relate the disease and the medicine and so everyone decided to call it a night.

In the morning when Lyra woke up Raila, Riha and Nori asked Lyra about her past to which she replied “When I was a kid I had Asthma so severe that even small things could scare me very easily.I felt so weak that hardly I could scream and react.This problem went on increasing until one day I was unable to feel my legs and hands.So my parents approached every specialist that they could fine but they failed to find a cure as the medical field was backdated then.At last we heard a doctor named Tir Vaider. The name was so weird and even no one knew about the medicines which he used to prescribe because he made those medicines himself and only he knew what were they made up of.After taking those medicines only I felt relieved.But the doctor did not say anything about the side-effects.He was in fact so sweet that he prescribed some medicines for free to my parents as they were also having some joint problems and with that they also felt good.Maybe professor is also suffering from similar disease and so he takes those pills.”

Hearing this they asked Lyra to take some other medicines instead of that which she has been taking for some days as unless they don’t solve the matter many lives were at stakes and so Lyra agreed.On coming out of the room three of them decided to meet Lyra’s parents and go her house which she lived earlier.They knew that if they ask Lyra about it she would be very upset and so they decided to go without informing her by bluffing that they were going for some field work and would be back soon.As they were about to go the warden of the hostel caught them in the corridor and asked them to meet her at the office.When they went there she told them the watchman had seen them sneaking out of their hostels with two boys.The girls tried to explain but the warden was so strict that she did not even hear a word and grounded them for a week so that they could only go to college and nowhere else for a week.At that moment they were looking each other as they were about to reach the truth.And so with a heavy heart they headed back to their rooms.

At night when everyone were busy in their rooms studying,suddenly the hostel warden called everyone outside the professor’s house.On reaching there they saw a dead body of a boy lying in the lawn.The professor then said “This boy came to my lawn to ask me doubts regarding some topic and so I helped him.As I was entering the house after clearing his doubts he asked me for water to drink.I asked him to come in and drink but he said that he was busy in some project and so he couldn’t enter.After that when I came out with water I saw him lay dead here.God knows what has happened meanwhile.”Then they called the watchman and asked him regarding this to which he replied that he had no idea regarding this as was in the loo.At this the professor got so angry that he began to shout “You idiot.Why do I pay you then if can’t follow your duty properly?You are fired”.Seeing this behaviour of the professor all the students got scared and so the wardens asked them to go to their respective rooms and sleep.Meanwhile the police were investigating and the warden asked the officers “Sir are you really looking into the matter or not.Two students have lost their lives recently and no news could be heard from you.If you don’t take the matter seriously the college authorities will have to approach the higher authorities in order to get justice”.At this the officer got angry and said “We are trying our best we can mam but since there are no evidences or proofs like murder weapon,fingerprints or anything we can’t come to a conclusion.We are doing our duties.Please do no interfere in the investigation procedures”.Saying this the police sealed the professor’s house and left and everyone went to their respective places.But since professor’s house was sealed so he decided to go to his farmhouse for shelter.

What really happened that night?Who killed that boy?Were there really no evidences or the evidences were erased to keep a secret?

DREAMS

Dreams show us many things...Some supernatural some horror and many more...Though in my case i dream both...So here’s a story...Narrating as a third person to make it more interesting.

A girl named Nori has taken admission in a college for becoming a graduate.On her first day she was nervous and scared,hoping to find someone familiar.Luckily she found a familiar face named Riha whom she had met while taking admission.So she sat with her.She was very excited as it was going to be her first step towards building a career.

As days passed she was becoming more and more comfortable with the environment but she felt someone missing with whom she could share her craziness and madness as Nori was a joyful kind of a girl.Days passed nobody seemed that much crazy enough to her.One day a girl named Raila entered the class as she joined the class late.She came and sat with Nori.At first both of them did not know each other but soon they became good friends.They started sharing everything with each other.They used to spend hours discussing some crazy stuffs.

One day when both of them were going from a class suddenly they noticed a chemical lying on the ground outside the college laboratory.They thought that someone must have accidentally dropped it so they ignored.At that point of time a rat passed through the corridor and started to lick the chemical.Both of them saw that but decided to move on as they were getting late for other classes.They attentively attended the classes and were very happy regarding the college environment.But when they passed through the same corridor they noticed something unusual.A strange noise could be heard from the corner.As they approached they were shocked to see the rat.The rat has gone wild,his eyes were red,his legs were bleeding unnaturally and he was eating the flesh of another rat.Both of them got so scared that they immediately fled from the scene and quickly got into their hostel in one breath.They were so dumbstruck that they could not even figure out what had happened then.They thought that there might have been a misunderstanding like the rat must be suffering from disease which was normal but the scenario was still stuck in their head.Then they decided to sleep early as they have been tired and thought that they might be hallucinating so they slept early.

The next morning they became normal and and they had their breakfast and so headed towards the college.Everything went normal.Few days passed they forgot the incident.

One day a girl named Lyra of their class got sick.She developed some kind of rashes on the body.She was under medical treatment but her condition seemed to get worse.She was living on the same floor where Nori and Raila used to live.Riha was roommate of Lyra. At night a strange sound could be heard by Riha which woke her up.As she sat on her bed she saw Lyra sitting on her bed too facing the wall and eating something.As Riha called her name she did not respond so she stood up and went near her.As she approached her she became almost paralysed.She could not even scream as her voice literally got stuck in her throat.She saw Lyra eating a cat which was Riha’s.She became so scared that slowly she moved backwards so that Lyra could not notice her.Suddenly she accidentally knocked down a vase.”Crash” it made a sound.At that time Lyra noticed her and suddenly jumped to attack her.Quickly Riha somehow managed to escape from the room and fled to Nori and Raila’s room.

Hearing Riha panting, Raila and Nori woke up and approached Riha.Riha narrated the whole incident.Then both of them asked her about Lyra. She said that she had locked Lyra in the room and somehow managed to escape. Everyone could not hear Lyra as the floor was a little bit isolated.Means below their floor was the mess hall and at night it was closed.After sometime when three of them settled thinking about what to do then suddenly someone knocked on their door.They got so scared that they could not open the door.Then a voice called their name saying that a girl has been found dead in the hall.Three of them got so shocked and were thinking that if Riha had locked Lyra in the room how did she managed to escape.Was the girl Lyra?Could she escape or someone else was murdered?
