i think its super funny regardless of the outcome but im pretty convinced buggy meeting shamrock would be hilarious. he’s either going to look dumbfounded at mihawk comparing him to shanks saying “what? he looks NOTHING like shanks! hair folicle b14 and h92 are COMPLETELY OFF!” and not even mention the arm or scar

or he’d be so convinced shanks magically regained a whole arm and healed his facial scar that he cant comprehend any differences between the two of them regardless of whatever kind of sense people try to shake into him and even if shamrock isnt even actively trying to fool him

i mean … it’d realistically just be him going “omg! shanks!” And then going “hey wait that isnt shanks what the fuck” and getting chopped to bits … which will still be funny … but i can dream…

with the release of the vivre card translations i cant help but think about my love of kaidou, queen and king. queen has SO much lore and notable importance as a figure within the world of one piece AND within the wano arc, meanwhile King is just sort of a lunarian and doesn’t have much else to him as a character aside from things directly tied to that fact. but that’s exactly why i love the two of them so much. King’s simplicity is what makes him great !!! KAIDOU JUST PICKED HIM UP AND WAS LIKE “hello experiment baby. this lab’s fuckin nuts right. Do you want to be best buddies cause’ i’m gonna change the world” And he was like “well shit im not doin anything else let’s do this man” AND THE REST WAS HISTORY

and on the other hand its so funny how queen was invited and waited SEVEN WHOLE ASS YEARS to show up at kaidou’s door because he was busy with MADS. seven whole years of kaidou and king probably golfing using poor starving people as golfballs down in wano with them going back and forth daily about if queen is going to accept his invitation or not, only for kaidou to one day call across the room like “GUESS WHO I JUST GOT A CALL BACK FROM! I TOLD YOU!! I TOLD YOUR ASS SCIEN WOULD JOIN!!!” And a few days later some big fat guy shows up at their doorstep and:

And proceeded to place him on equal standing with his best bro. Despite all the fucked up stuff he’s done this is why i can’t help but love kaidou. He’s kind of just a big stupid asshole who’s been fucking around his whole life trying to kill himself, kill everyone else and has been waiting for Super Mario From The Legends to show up at wano and kill him. He drinks during battle. He gets really sad about not having fair fights with people he’s actively trying to kill. He’s a total piece of shit and put his son in a cave and chains for his oden hyperfixation but actively respects his pronouns. He paid two of the most heinous men alive to fund The Worst Devil Fruits Ever. He never confirms a kill and just assumes anyone he swings at hard enough has died instantly. Kaidou what’s wrong with you dude i love you

and then throw in jack who kaidou definitely put in just so he could tell people they were the four horsemen who is the biggest pushover of all time who none of the three respect and he’s just fine with that. What is their problem

this is completely random and maybe a little insane but id read the fuck out of a college ginyu force au where they’re just a group of friends who are best known for their efficacy at running errands for professor frieza

naturally burter and jeice are on the baseball team and they all show up to every practice and game and scream their lungs out cheering for them even when its completely inappropriate

id like to think instead of having a body change ability in this au ginyu would just be an incredibly academically talented social chameleon and fast learner who is completely fake around everyone except for the ginyu force. recoome is probably in some kind of dance program or local group. guldo is probably loaded and tries really hard to fit in with the group to seem like he’s truly one of them for the social clout but ends up realizing that he’s in it for the long game now

like don’t even put any of the main dragon ball characters in it except maybe vegeta. i just want to see them running around doing boring slice of life stuff with comedy reminiscent of nan hao and feng sheng. i want to see them all crowded around a tv in ginyu’s tiny dorm eating the shitty takeout guldo ordered and swears up and down is good. i want to see ginyu trying to help recoome pass his exams and after realizing studying isnt working they all band together to try and come up with some needlessly elaborate plan to get recoomes grades up through secretly scheduling out an entire day for him and learning hands on through lived experience. i want to see professor frieza praising them and professor cooler looks at him silently thinking to himself 'these kids are fucking stupid. What are you even going on about. salza dorei and neiz are much harder workers'. i think it would be cool

rocks d xebec is so infinitely interesting to me and not because “oh he was probably really strong!” but because i have to wonder what he really wanted. what was he truly after? of course they claim he wanted to be the king of the world, but what comes after that? why did he want to rule the world? why did he recruit who he did? how did he convince so many powerful rookies who would go on to become the most feared pirates in the world to join his cause?

he managed to recruit someone like whitebeard who only truly longed for a family and someone like linlin, who despite her evils has as far as we know held the noble goal of uniting the world’s races. hell, even shiki, a tenacious natural born conqueror who it’d be hard to imagine would ever choose to be a pirate if he wasn’t captain. rocks had a crew full of bloodthirsty pirates full of conflicting personalities and dreams, it makes me wonder what kind of world did he promise them he’d make in order for them to stick around? what kind of man did he have to be in order to keep them all under his command and see him as their captain despite how poorly they all worked together? was it their experience working under him that formed those fundamentals for who they would become, rather than beforehand?

i want to know! i’m not satisfied with what we’ve seen of God Valley so far!!! i want more!!! oda!!! ODA!!!!!!
