The dude is always like "I'm so evil and fucked up no one can ever grasp the depths of how evil and fucked up I am" and then he meets someone who is actually evil and fucked and he's completely stumped about their evil and fucked upness

Like, the dude couldn't even handle the moral grey area that was Nephis lying to people on the shore so that the people there actually had a chance of going home instead of all dying miserable and alone.
