Most Stuf Oreo

For over 2.5 years, I have eaten two Oreos everyday with a cup of coffee. The Oreos have been mega stuf and other flavored Oreos of all kinds. When the limited edition most stuf Oreos were being released, it was obvious that my Oreo career had been leading up to this moment: trying the most stuf Oreo. On February 2, 2019, I obtained 6 boxes of most stuf Oreos. On February 3, 2019 at 12:40 pm, I tasted my first most stuf Oreo (two of them).

Mega Stuf vs Most Stuf

Nutrition

The mega stuf Oreo has a serving size of two cookies compared to the most stuf Oreo that has a serving size of one cookie. It may appear that the most stuf cookie is much worse for you; however, there are other factors. Each mega stuf cookie is 90 calories. Each most stuf cookie is 110 calories. There is only a 20 calorie difference in between the cookies. The question comes down to does the increased amount of stuf enhance the deliciousness of the Oreo cookie enough to make it worth the extra 20 calories.

Taste

The mega stuf Oreo has been a staple in the Oreo world for all stuf lovers, but does the most stuf Oreo take it too far? The answer is a resounding no. The extra stuf in the most stuf creates a ratio of cookie to stuf that all stuf lovers will fall in love with. Although the taste of the most stuf Oreos are phenomenal,  there is an “issue” that needs to be discussed. Before the most stuf Oreos were released in January of 2019, mega stuf Oreos have been available for years; they were released in February of 2013. When taking apart two mega stuf Oreos to create a double-mega stuf Oreo, taking a bite will squeeze the large amount of stuf out the sides of the Oreo. This is the case with the most stuf Oreo as well. Let's call it the “smush effect.” There is another issue with the most stuf Oreo: the amount of stuf on the most stuf Oreo in comparison to the mega stuf Oreo is a little underwhelming. Let's take a closer look at this idea.

The Science of Oreos

The original Oreo has 3 grams of stuff. Unsurprisingly, double stuf has 6 grams of stuf. The mega stuf Oreo has 11 grams of stuf; that is almost twice as much stuf as a double stuf Oreo. The most stuf Oreo has 13 grams of stuf; that is less than one regular Oreo of extra stuf when comparing mega stuf and most stuf.

Final Verdict

The most stuf Oreos are an incredible idea for all stuf lovers; however, it was not implemented correctly. The most stuf Oreos should have more stuf because they are underwhelming in comparison to the mega stuf Oreo. Considering the most stuf Oreos have the “smush effect” but do not have a considerable more amount of stuf than the mega stuf that does not have the “smush effect” is disappointing. It appears to be more of a marketing stunt than a true desire to create a most stuf Oreo. The fact that the most stuf oreo has over 4 times as much stuf as the original Oreo is irrelevant; by the Oreos being called “most stuf” makes customers assume that the Oreos will have way more stuf than any Oreo ever before, but that is not the case. The most stuf Oreo is still delicious and a great addition to the Oreo family, but with its implementation, it should only be a limited edition Oreo, which it is.
