I need to recycle the concept of "Mark Of The Baked" and do something with it. Probably not big, but I do wanna toy with Shadow Milk trying to torment with Gingerbrave, Wizard, and Strawberry. But I put that one shot in such a closed ending, it's been impossible to add onto it without contradictions. Not sure what it will be, but I'm sure I can come up with something cruel and unusual.

i still hate that qara got basically a confirmed off-screen, post-canon death and it wasn't even an elaborate one like bishop's... you could say that qara dying in a pathetic, forgettable way like getting crushed by a rock is fitting bc of her superiority complex, but god its so lame with how they scrapped her cut plotline of being literally a danger to the group with her suppressed inner fire powers

you can literally establish that khelgar and neeshka are alive and get a MOTB ending with either alive, but NOT qara, like she is exclusively always said to be killed. its such a waste to kill off basically 70% of the NWN2 cast and only confirm 2 of them as alive, some of them are more filler coded (grobnar, kinda zhjaeve since she's used to lore dump) but it's still soooo unfair. i can perfectly understand bishop dying and wouldn't even be mad if he had a secret ending where you ran away together or smth, but it's just like "fuck it, confirm qara is dead" which is funny because i was genuinely surprised they even brought back neeshka and khelgar in the first place.

i wish MOTB was a bit more flexible with the ending combos you could get because let's be real, it'd be so cool if we could get any combo of 2 surviving OC companions, or two set combos. being able to marry gann/safiya and then going out on adventures with khelgar/neeshka is such a sweet ending but it still hurts that we lost so many oc companions for essentially no reason. qara/sand betraying you based on relationship points is also pretty weird but mostly because qara's power AND her father plotline got screwed over by cuts, so the logic is weird-

also, as for qara's growth, zhjaeve was RIGHT there, and the two of them are already an established duo in a certain act 3 segment. she could easily serve as qara's mentor after the game's events to control her powers and not let them take hold of her actions so she wouldn't lose her sense of self. a qara/zhjaeve epilogue scene where they escape the final dungeon would be cvnty, might also write a fanfic based on that premise...
