OCtober Day 21: Laugh

Big bimbo moth makes stoic Godling laugh for the first time in ages despite him telling her that he’s not supposed to talk let alone laugh, more at 11-
So I’ve not had the chance to draw my moth yet and I’m just attaching her ref at the bottom for the full view. It took me SO long to finish this prompt because I just kept redesigning her over and over and over- But I’m finally pleased with how she looks.
So Mini here is an Atlas Moth and has the IQ of a walnut. Full of charisma, no intelligence. When I get her wing design down, she actually has a sunset color scheme and I’m very excited to draw that. Not gonna lie, I had full intentions to go out of my way to never make a moth oc because they’re so common. WELP that totally changed when I fell in love with the Yonna and Silva little doodles I saw over on Fly-Sky-High-hollow-knight; honestly yas please all the little doodles give me life. (I’ll admit, I’m still weak for that preening session art, oml please look at it here.)
So I got inspired there and then Vinny and I started working on something that involved someone becoming an atlas moth temporarily and I’m just- yep so I have to make a moth now. Gdi.
Also I just.. always end up making an Amazonian woman type character in every single piece of media that I work on so it was just inevitable. Anyhow, enjoy. This is from GNMAU. This is technically @spoopydoodle‘s moth Grimm design but we made him his own character in this AU separate from Grimm. Samael has been forced to just be the public face for the moth tribe and he’s just.. detached. He’s not allowed to enjoy things in life and is basically confined to his office day in and day out. However, lucky for us all there’s a bimbo moth who’s just too stupid not to laugh at and also happens to be his personal guard.
