What do I do with this???
Someone help me, I found what I am guessing is a moth chrysalis cause idk how a butterfly would get in my house. It was just sitting in my cat's bed (which is right by a huge closed window) in direct sunlight so I moved it with a spoon into a plastic food container with a paper towel lining the bottom. Its just sitting in the shade on a shelf in the same room, the sun never hits that part of the room. I'm afraid to do anything and I keep seeing people say that direct sunlight isn't good for it. Should I put it outside? Do I have to spritz the paper towel with mist? Should it be in a net cage thingy? What temperature should the room be? Do I leave it alone now that its safe from direct sunlight and my cat? Its quite a big room but its been humid even inside the house. The room also drops in temperature quite a bit when its night. I live in a part of the UK where it is very hot, humid, and rainy during the summer. Please help 🙏
