god its such a painslut being around Her to be kicked punched and slapped whenever is fucking amazing. it thinks its a bit touch starved and it fucking loves any kind of touch. it feels so nice and warm and ugh. it almost came when She kicked it and when She slaps it, its heaven on earth. seeing the possessiveness in Her eyes is a high no drug could match. Just thinking of Her is making it literally wag its tail. It only ever does that for Handler, Wife, and Five. fuck. the moth eggs are hatching or theres at least some movement.
So a few days ago, I saw a moff hanging out on the wall outside - a tiger moth I think, I'm not the greatest at identifying, especially moths with how varied they are lol
Anyway, it was hanging out there for a lil while... and when it left, it left behind a cluster of eggs!! This was really really cool for me, I didn't know what moth eggs look like, now I do! Tiny golden pearls :D
Then earlier today, I checked on them and they were cookin' good! You can see the dark spots in 'em, all the lil larva getting ready to hatch!!
And then, I just got home and checked again... AND
CONFIRMED TINIES!!!!!!!!

These are all the eggs that the pink-striped oakworm moth laid!! It looks like there’s almost 100
Uh guys... I was releasing some southern flannel moths yesterday when a wild male appeared out of nowhere, flew into the tank, and started mating with my female. I’ve had females going on crazy egg laying sprees with no males around, so I’ve seen the eggs. But this morning, I went to check on the happy couple, and there are eggs EVERYWHERE. And these eggs are a lot more organized than the unfertilized ones. Neat little rows, happy faces on leaves, very clean.
But count them. Look at how many eggs. That is how many caterpillars I can expect. These are the horribly venomous walking hairpiece cuties I’ve posted previously. Getting stung by one is worse than kidney stones. I managed to avoid getting hurt when I was raising 11 from small caterpillars. But... This is over 100 eggs. I haven’t counted. I don’t really want to count.
Save me
