Villages & Settlements (11/?): Goponga Village Ruins
Goponga village —only a few ruins ,breaking the idyllic scene, are left of what once was an economic hub for various trading routes of Hyrule. One can only hope that its former inhabitants had enough time to evacuate before the horror reached the village. The only inhabitants now are a few monsters, the usual birds and a pair of water buffaloes that is surrounded by a rather sad tale. Said buffaloes are rumored to be the very same pair (reincarnating over and over again) seen at the village site, shortly after the calamity struck, crying in search of their farmers, a rather laid-back and sweet old couple who were said to have stayed behind when the calamity commenced, while it remains unclear how or why the animals were separated from the couple, it is widely believed that they were rescued, during the village's evacuation, by a neighboring farmer on the orders of the old couple.
