so, i just finished playing earthbound beginnings! 🎮

i’ve always liked ness and lucas from ssbb, and recently i found out about the earthbound series they’re from. decided to start with the first one

honestly, i had to use a walkthrough because the game basically throws you in with zero hints. but it was totally worth it! 🙌

right away, i loved how quirky and unique the game is — the humor, the characters, and the weird enemies really got me 😄👾

and the story? man, it hit me hard. made me cry, got me hyped, and i felt so happy when i beat it ❤️

can’t wait to jump into the next ones! 🚀

Fanart I made of the Party Members from Mother 1 and 2, in order Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, Ninten, Ana, Lloyd and Teddy, all of them as anthros 🧢 I have been playing a lot both of them and I plan to make more fanarts about the franchise! (I didn't do the Mother 3 ones either because I haven't played it yet and I haven't gone into the story much, but soon....)

this sort of trope of the super powerful party member that joins and then dies later is one of those really effective ideas in the first mother that gets kind of repeated albeit not to the same impacts in later titles, but i think the storytelling done here is why the first mother isn't something one should wholy disregard

Come join the story of Mother Odyssey!!

Hello to all the countrymen from the land of Odyssey! Is everyone all right? Hope I heard a yes!! Anyway, I (@neromaruti), humbly come to Mother Odyssey's profile to introduce you to a new project. Odyssey has gone and still goes through several problems and detours along the way, reaching a point where it becomes completely impossible to deal with these adversities. All the complexities of creating Odyssey will not be matched in the way you expect, however, I come to bring a new proposal to all of you. And this proposal is called... Mother Odyssey... The SERIES!!

I've always been a lover of comic books, literature, poetry and the like, and one of the things I love most is comic books. I write for a hobby, being almost a profession these days. With that, an idea came to mind to bring the Earthbound and Mother Odyssey community together to create a great story. For that, I would like to assemble a team of writers to create weekly chapters of Odyssey, with their plots intertwining until the end of the series. I know it sounds like a difficult and silly job, as it sounds pretty ridiculous speaking out loud. However, you see, I would love to be able to create a more united community on Earthbound, and for that specific purpose I would like to create this "fanfiction" of Mother.

Earthbound has always been known to be, above all, a creative game. Wouldn't it be strange if the community didn't follow this trend? For that I would like to create this "team", a team to help in the creation and scripting of Mother Odyssey. I know this sudden change seems strange, but trust me, if all goes well, Mother Odyssey will be a good and joyful story. I hope you understand and read it with love. 💖
