Mother’s Day, has a different meaning for everyone. For some businesses, it’s an opportunity to capitalize annually off of sentiment and familial relationships. For the motherless, it’s a reminder of what they’ve been hoping for. For those who have miscarried, and other pregnancy complications…it’s a time when reflecting upon what could’ve been… that touches their souls even more than usual. For those who have mothers who’ve passed away, it’s a time when they share flowers on gravesites, and others are able to share with those who are still in this land of the living. For those who haven’t physically birthed children of their own, but serve as mother figures to others...it’s a time when they’re either unappreciated and watch those they care for show appreciation to others, or when they are given tokens of affection and shown appreciation for their motherly love and affection.
