However, we now have come to a time where understanding these concepts are crucial to our survival. So my mom was watching Arrow with me and I was trying to fill her in on characters during commercials. When we got to the first Olicity scene was like "they are in love, but are being dumb right now and pretending they aren't" and as soon as the scene was over she goes "oh yeah, totally in love". BAM! Woman had never seen an episode in her life and hates "superhero" shows/movies, but sees the perfection that is Olicity.
