Hi I'm the op of that post and I want to clarify that I don't hate Rin or think he should be hurt in any canon context, and I'm sorry for that post. Rin is my favourite character and I identify strongly with him, especially in the aspect of how he deals with his mental illness, as mine has very similar periods and I handle it just as badly generally. I pick at him in a self depreciating way because of that, but I realize that context is lost in the post. I'm really sorry and I want to do better

Who would win tickle wars: Rose, Pearl probably crumbles into a useless ball at so much sudden touch stimuli
Who would draw pictures of the other in their sketchbook: Again I don’t see gems much as artist-y types
Who would holds hands while walking: Pearl would want to initiate but would be too shy, so Rose’d do it all the time
Who would gives cheek kisses: Rose, she loves being affectionate
Who would start a snowball fight: Rose, she’d probably cheat and use her shield too
Who would slip the most on a date to go ice skating: Pearl, no matter how graceful you are it doesn’t matter if you’re not looking where you’re going ‘cause you’re staring at your girlfriend
Who leaves letter in the others locker: They’re both more face-to-face people
Who would bring lunch to school/work for the other: Gems don’t need to eat, but Pearl seems like she’d be the overattentive caretaker type
Who would want cuddle at the movie theater date: Both, Rose is more casual with touch in general, but Pearl’s pretty cuddly when she’s at ease
Who would buy cheezy cliche gifts for each other on holidays: Neither, both put a lot of thought into presents
Who would start an argument about what color curtains they should have at home: Neither, Rose’d know if Pearl has a strong opinion it’s probably better to go with it, but if Rose had one Pearl wouldn’t argue
Who would remember their anniversary: It’s been so long, and happened so gradually neither of them have any idea
Who would blurt out how much they love the other in front of people: Both, Pearl is much with the awkward blurting of things when she’s embarrassed, but Rose would do it on purpose
Who would offer to wash the others back in the shower: I feel like Pearl would want to, but they’re both so big and Rose has so much hair it’d have to be the other way, so Rose would indulge Pearl’s cleanliness habits instead
Who would post up statuses about the other on facebook: Rose, and everyone would curse whoever taught her about technology
Who would have the others picture as their phone background: Both of them, but it would be Rose’s fault “All the humans use them, it’s much faster than running around looking for each other. Pearl, it captures images, look this way!”
Who would take pictures of the other while they’re sleeping: Gems don’t need sleep, so late night couple selfies instead?
Who says I love you: Rose mostly, Pearl still gets flustered and embarrassed
