Nobody has given up godhood because that would be giving up humanity. You can say it all you like, but you cannot actually change your species.
Plenty of them live among humans, because humanity is interesting and everything is always changing. Notably, a lot of fallen angels live and work among humans and split their time between the mortal world and Hell. They'll keep jobs and apartments and friends on Earth and spend time in Hell when they have free time.
Lucifer splits his time between Earth and Hell about 40%/60%
