Who I pair them with: Suki, Zuko (Thanks to Terra and Carrie)
Who I hate them with: Toph, Ty Lee, Azula.
Why I like/hate them: He's sarcastic and I adore that in a character. He's warm and open and loving and protective of those he loves, and he's incredibly smart.
Favourite physical feature: His expressive face.
Least favourite quality in the character: I don't think I have one.
3 Headcanons: Sokka and Suki get married on Kyoshi Island. They spar often. Their wins and losses are more equal now.
My OTP for said character: Sukka. <3
The Stranger
Eden aimed a frustrated kick at a rock on the ground, a satisfying thud emanating from her automail. Stupid colonel, sending me after false lead, she thought angrily. In the middle of nowhere, too. I bet he did it just to get rid of me for a week, the bastard.
A week previously, she had been called into the Colonels office with the forewarning that another assignment was on its way. The assignment was to check up on a small town near the West and Central border, called Gegota, and investigate the Major in charge of the town. Reports of an abuse of power had made their way back to Central, and the higher-ups had regulated the job of investigating to the Colonel, who in turn had regulated it to Ed. There was more then one reason Eden had gotten the job- rumors of a strange alchemy being practiced in the town were circulating, and the Colonel had heard whispers of a Stone.
In order to travel to Gegota, Eden had to take a train and then find some form of transportation to the small town from a larger town, since there was no train tracks within thirty miles of the town. After spending several long hours riding horseback, she reached the town, only to discover that no one would willingly speak to her and the Major was out of town. to top off the deal, Alphonse had been forced to stay in Central, with almost no explanation from the Colonel as to why, leaving Eden all alone in a small town, where no one would speak to her. Angry, she decided to take a walk through the countryside, where houses (and people) were few and far in between.
Just then, a bright blue light interrupted her musings, and Eden glanced up just as the farm house she was walking near exploded in a ball of blue flames. Thrown to the ground by the blast, ears ringing, Eden struggled to sit up and pulled herself to her feet. That's more like it, she thought grimly. Now I'll at least have something to do, even if its just finding the source of the blast.
