Hey... uh I've been struggling with some crazy dysphoria lately, being transitioning female to male. Can I have some encouragement from someone like Dave, Dirk, or Mituna?

Hey, I have a con in just over 2 months but I have to do two cosplays and I really wanna finish the Eridan cosplay before the con so I can test it out and stuff. But I have no motivation. like at all. I'm worried I'm going to leave it till last minuet. any advice?

Hey anon, rolal here 2 give u some advice

Im srry if this response is rlly late from when u asked it but ok lets see what we can do

1: if u rlly wanna do the cosplay, find time in ur schedule and sit down and think about what u need to get done, then take it down lil by lil, gettin the easy stuff done before the major stuff

2: know ur own body, dont force urself to get all of it done in one day, and miss out on meals and stuff, take care of urself and dont stress out, take a step back, breath, take a break and jump back in

3: ur doing two cosplays, if the other one is easier, finish it first so that u can rlly put ur focus into the big cosplay u wanna do

4: set a goal date, lets say like a week n a half from the con, get it done by then and test it out, so that way u still have a bunch of time to make adjustments

5: dont give up, keep going, ur gonna do great and its gonna look awesome 

be proud of the work u put into it and wear it like u mean it

Final thoughts: i know u can do this anon, i have faith in u, get that cosplay done and u can look back on it like ‘woah i did that, holy shite!’ and u better be rockin that cosplay when finished. i hope u have fun at ur con and that u do well

Hello again!

It’s the mod formerly known as Ellie! Gee it’s been a while hasn’t it? On behalf of all the Mods here at Motivationstuck, I’d like to thank you all for your patience over these last few months. They’ve been hard on all of us,myself included, and we’re so excited to finally announce out comeback! We’ve been working hard on answering leftover asks and filling the queue to the best of our ability.

This blog was not an ask blog originally, but rather more of an edit factory cranking out png’s of our favorite, most beloved Homestuck characters saying motivational things. While we still plan on answering asks in character, we plan on returning to our roots a little bit as well, so keep an eye out for different kinds of content beyond in-character asks!

Please be patient with us as we get back into the swing of things. Our Active Mod Count went from almost fifteen to about five, all with varying schedules, time zones, and energy levels. We’re still human, so please keep that in mind when waiting on responses to asks. We’re very excited to get back to helping as much as we can!
