How do you track your kins? Do you use an app? A journal?/genq
Could really use some tips.

very good question. there are many ways to do it, and what works for one person may be overwhelming for another
personally, i think the easiest method is usually some combination of:
▸ pinterest boards/images/music
you don’t need to track every possible thing, but some people find it helpful to write down:
▸ emotional reactions to characters/species/concepts
▸ shifts (if you experience them)
APPS / METHODS PEOPLE USE
▸ simply plural (some people use it even outside of system use)
▸ physical journals/sketchbooks
▸ private tumblr tags/blogs
▸ pinterest boards for visual organization
do NOT pressure yourself to “solve” your identity quickly
a lot of people accidentally turn tracking into:
«“i need definitive proof immediately”»
when it’s usually more helpful to treat it as:
«“i am observing patterns over time”»
||…the npc leans against the counter slightly||
it’s okay if some identities stay blurry, undefined, or difficult to organize
not every experience fits neatly into a folder
if you’re overwhelmed, start SMALL
even just making a single note titled:
«“things that feel important/reoccurring”»
you can build from there slowly
good luck organizing the inventory :)
the entity was informed by @local-flicker that simply plural is shutting down and they recommend Ampersand for tracking
