Sepang, a winter helmet for Rossi!
Winter graphics with snowflakes, reindeer and snow clad trees for Rossi’s special helmet at the tests in Malaysia.
The first meeting of the season gets under way at Sepang for the Teams competing in MotoGP 2015. Valentino Rossi took the words “winter testing” to heart and, despite the fact that the weather was far from cold in Malaysia, he turned up at Sepang with a woolly winter hat complete with snowflakes, reindeer and snow clad trees). After keeping it on for a couple of happy snaps with other members of the team but possibly above all, to poke fun at the tropical weather conditions, Vale also “took” it on track in the form of special graphics on his AGV Pista GP helmet. Valentino didn’t let his fans down either – the nine times World Champion chose a great new two-coloured design with his usual fluorescent yellow and blue colour scheme. His number 46 seems to have been embroidered onto both sides and stands out loud and clear.
A Corsa model replica will be available from July and will cost SRP £699.
This limited edition will faithfully reproduce the graphics on Valentino’s race helmet except for other sponsor’s logos and visor components and accessories.

RST Confirmed as Major New TT Races Commercial Partner
The Isle of Man Government Department of Economic Development, rights holder for the Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy, has signed a major new two-year agreement with RST to be the Official Safety Partner.
The deal includes title sponsorship of the Superbike Race on Saturday 6th June, which becomes the RST Superbike Race as well as a series of start-line, podium and track-side branding opportunities. The company will also receive programme, race guide and official iomtt.com advertising as part of their inventory of benefits.
RST will be producing a bespoke TT flash motorcycle clothing collection, featuring the official TT logo, which will be exclusively available in the TT RST concept store located behind the main grandstand on the Isle of Man. The company is planning to release details of the range next year.
The travelling marshals will be fully kitted out in RST kit, including a special version of the Alpha III jacket, helping them to perform their important role in comfort and safety.
Jonny Towers, RST Sales and Marketing Director, commented: “RST has already been working closely with the Isle Man TT team as the safety partner for the 2013 and 2014 Classic TT Races. Law Looking 'TRIK' After Securing MOTODIRECT Deal for 2014 Campaign
18-year-old Essex racer Mason Law, managed and mentored by double World Supersport Champion Andrew Pitt, is delighted to announce support from Trik Moto for his second full season in the Pirelli National 600cc Superstock class.
Trik Moto is a fresh new brand providing ‘stuff 4 bikes’ and sits proudly alongside its more established cousin RST – with both being distributed by MotoDirect – a premier manufacturer and distributor of motorcycle clothing, helmets and accessories.
The Benfleet lad, who had a best-placed finish of fourth in his rookie season after a memorable performance at Snetterton, said of his new sponsor: “We had a good year last year with our own little set-up, but Andrew [Pitt] spoke to the MotoDirect guys, who he has a long-standing relationship with, and we were able to secure support from Trik Moto which I’m delighted about.”
On his new team-mate and pre-season testing Mason added: “Trik Moto supported Hudson Kennaugh on his way to winning the Pirelli National 1000cc Superstock title last year, and it will be good to have him as a team-mate this year.
“We have been testing out in Spain on a slightly modified Kawasaki road bike, that we purchased to keep the miles off the engine on my ZX6R race bike, and it has helped me greatly. I was also out in Italy with Andrew doing some cycling and he was preparing a fitness programme for me and giving me motivational advice – so it has been a great off-season in general.”
Looking to the season ahead Mason said: “I’m quietly confident that we can do a good job and be up at the sharp end challenging this year. With Andrew there to support and advise me and the work we have done over the winter; not forgetting the support from my dad and a few others – I think it’s going to be a good season for us on the Trik Moto Kawasaki.”
