Mottled Turkey
The mottled black turkey strain was developed in the mid-1990s by Kevin & Jill Porter. Each white feather has small to large random black spots. The amount of spotting a bird gets will increase after each moult, they will reach their maximum spotting potential by their third year. Their feathers resemble that of the immature Bald Eagle. This has been the goal in breeding these for years, a bird that has feathers that are almost identical to an eagle.
