Previous Next Since the cattle came from the Northern Kingdom, ranchers have been reporting their livestock getting ill. More worryingly, it seems this same illness if affecting many dromaeus citizens. The only linking factor is that they have hooves. Panel 1- Ven's monthly After a day of helping with the corn harvest, Merula and Ven make their way back into town. Merula has had a runny nose for a day now but she is struck by a sudden wave of tiredness. Ven is concerned but she insists it's just because they've been in the heat of the day too long. She's sure she'll feel better after a rest... Panel 2- Reprise's monthly Reprise is watching the royal flock when she sees one of the ewes acting odd... Happy rinderpest, Mountain Kingdom c':

Lesotho

It was here that David told Ian another story. The story of how the African Kingdom of Lesotho.

Lesotho is one of the heroes of the Second World War. In 1940 Britain was on the brink of invasion. At this critical time the Kingdom of Lesotho (formerly known as Basutoland) presented Britain with twenty-four Spitfire fighter aircraft, sufficient to equip two entire RAF squadrons.

This was a disproportionately generous contribution from a Commonwealth country the size of Wales with a population of only 400,000 people.

No. 72 (Basutoland) Squadron is one of the relatively few Second World War squadrons that are still in existence.
