hi everyone, so i randomly started reading (listening to the audiobook of) assassin’s apprentice yesterday, and i was like, yeah yeah, this is interesting, cool, fitz is pretty fun, but i need a WOMAN i would move mountains for. and i was like, ugh too bad the author sent fitz’s father somewhere far away and we’re not going to see him with his wife, and then robin killed him off entirely, and i was like oh sad but i wonder what lady patience’s life is like now

and then in ch11 fitz meets an INTERESTING WOMAN, and i was like OH YES MY DREAM COMES TRUE and then in ch12 she goes to the king and demands that fitz be taught everything his father was taught, and that she’ll be training him herself too, and I AM SO DELIGHTED. GOD, you have no idea how much i love characters like this and these interesting dynamics

i hope the fandom doesn’t hate herrrr i’m writing all this having absolutely no idea what the fandom thinks of her, but anyway, i’m already completely obsessed with her <3333

Name someone with a worse life than Fitz!! you can’t!!!

I loved this trilogy. The world building was immersive and the characters felt incredibly authentic. The endings are always heart wrenching, but never in a way that dissuades you from picking up the next book. I look forward to picking up the Liveship Traders series and continuing to explore the Realm of the Elderlings!

(royal assassin fitz voice): hi my name is fitzchivalry farseer and i have dark curly brown hair (from my strong farseer genes) that reaches my shoulders and dark brown eyes like skill stone and a lot of people tell me I look like abdicated king in waiting chivalry (AN: if u don't know who he is get da hell out of here!) i’m not related to lady patience but i wish i was because she’s a major mother figure. i’m a human but my teeth can bite things like a wolf. i’m also a bastard and i live in buckeep castle in the six duchies where i’m in my ninth year of assassin’s training (i’m fifteen). i have the wit (in case you couldn’t tell) and i mostly wear buck blue. i love mistress hasty’s and i get all my clothes from there. for example today i was wearing a blue jerkin with a matching brown belt and black pants and black leather boots. i was walking outside buckeep. it was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which i was very happy about. a lot of preps stared at me i put my middle finger up at them.

“hey fitzy!” shouted a voice. i looked up. it was…the fool!

“what’s up fool?” i asked

“nothing.” he said shyly.

but then i heard chade call me and i had to go away.

It's funny how Fitz almost punched the Fool for asking if Molly was pregnant. Like bruh, now you're suddenly acting like you aren't doing it almost every night with her?

I'm reading through the royal assassin. I couldn't help but wonder if Chade and Shrewd are trying to set up Regal into attempting to poison the king to death. Ufff. Intresting. Get that asshole eliminated however possible.

I hate Regal so much. So freaking much. Every time I read about him he gets on my nerves. He's just an annoying asshole all the time. Neither smart, nor useful. Just a huge dung pile of hindrance. He's just freaking creating a mess of everything. Give him a place to rule and he'll shit himself all over within a few months. Shrewd really needs to man up and deal with him.

Wtf. Why is the plot getting darker and darker. Ick. Fitz and Verity sharing minds when they're intimate with their partners is the weirdest thing I have ever read. I speculate something weird is about to happen between Fitz and Ketricken.

Shit just got dark.
