安全祈願を執り行っています。山伏がやるのは初めて見たかも、最後法螺貝吹いてるのも何か馴染みが無い。神仏習合を経た儀式って色々ですね。

In Shinto, we hold a safety ritual to purify the place and ask the deities (Kami) for their protection to prevent accidents or troubles.

Near the top of Cheonggyesan I met a monk at a small Buddhist shrine who spoke a little English.  He said that not many foreigners stop to speak with him, and he wanted a picture with me.  He gave me his phone number to send him this picture, so now I have a entry in my address book for "Mountain Monk".
