yeah i think i’m going to quit next week, barring some change in pay rate/schedule that would make this a little less stressful for me. i never did end up seeing the ex-wife- think someone did pull into the driveway, but they turned around pretty quick. maybe it was just someone turning around (the driveway is pretty long though), or maybe she saw the lights on and decided not to risk it?

so i was on youtube watching an informational video about how artisan vegetable oils are made because it was the source of argument between my brother and i

and in the recommended videos was a B-52s song and my brother said OH, guess what we watched in band today, and showed me the music video for “rock lobster”

and i was like, there must be a way to make an instrument out of a lobster

and he was like, there’s this other thing we learned about in band a few weeks ago, this instrument called the vibra-slap that’s meant to approximate the sound of a jawbone used as an instrument

so we looked up that video and i was like, what does an actual jawbone sound like

and thusly, the video you saw
