Wait wasn’t that bird deathly ill and like, in a sling and everything?  But…if he doesn’t have bird flu….

Apparently he became stressed, stopped eating, and collapsed. Is this true? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

She's been so sketchy about the whole situation - she finally did confirm that government did cull all of the other birds on the farm and they didn't just all naturally pass and has been claiming that they were unable to test the one famous emu until like yesterday because reasons. IDK it's FL so maybe she did convince the government to let her keep the famous one, make culling dependent on a test, delay the test long enough for him to test negative. But it so shady.

The only thing I can think of is that as soon as she realized avian flu was a risk, she put the emu into complete isolation to protect him from infection. But then why would she not lock down the other birds? It doesn’t make sense.

Hard!  Had to pick from 15 instances in a fairly short (so far) fic!

Kallus’s cell opened and the military police were there again.  They cuffed him and walked him through what was obviously a Mon Cal ship – which one, he wasn’t sure – and to a conference room somewhere near the bridge.

Totally agreed. Would I like to get into original fic one day? Sure. But right now I dont have the mental spoons for it. Writing fanfic is fun and it really does help you to improve and practice. It is for you first and foremost.

All exactly true!  Fanfic is just as valid as any other writing - I mean, what were the Iliad and the Odyssey if not Greek mythology fanfic?  

No writing is bad writing.  It’s all practice and improvement!

14.  If you could change one thing about the Star Wars universe, what would it be?

HOBBIE KLIVIAN DID NOT DIE AT HOTH.  Also give me more Wes.  And bring back Tycho.  And someone give Wedge a medal for surviving Yavin, too; he did as much or more to keep Luke alive than Han did.

Okay, that’s four things, but the Fab Four come as a group.

23.  How would you wear your hair?

If I could have Leia’s hairdressers, I would grow my hair out long for those awesome braids.

30.  Do you have any headcanons?

Most of my headcanons these days revolve around Kalluzeb, so here’s my hc about Zeb’s family:

He was born the youngest and the runt of a litter of five boys.  Early in his life, a famine hit Lasan and the boys were split up among family members to help spread the load on rations.  Zeb went to his Aunt Talinda and Uncle Jenobrin, who kept and raised him because they couldn’t have children of their own.  He had three younger sisters after the famine, but thought of his siblings more like cousins because he almost never spent time with them.

(It’s a headcanon, sue me, lol)

10. what kind of fence is the most aesthetically pleasing to you? 

I’m not really a fence kind of person, but if I have to have one, I’d go with a tall wooden one.  The wood can be very pretty and it actually serves a privacy purpose!

13. are you a moss kind of person or an algae kind of person? 

Moss!  Algae is fascinating, scientifically, but I hate feeling it in water.

22. do you know how to swim? 

I have been swimming pretty much my entire life!  My parents took me to an indoor pool as an infant and then my dad - who was a competition trick skier - would ski holding me in one arm until I could stand on his skis in front of him and I had my own pair of skis by the age of 4. 

That being said, having a family lake cabin definitely helped because there was always a place to swim when we visited family.

People came and went all the time in the Rebellion, so it wasn’t odd to wake up and discover a roommate or friend had scarpered or been sent on a last-minute minute – at least, that’s hopefully what happened to them.
