as much as i understand that this episode wasnt the best (its just a filler episode.. literally all flashbacks or random transformations) but dont lose hope! this could be a sign that a big change is happening which is why they used this filler episode for now! hopefully a new change to marinettes clothes or ladybugs design or maybe more character development but we'll seeeee

i was disappointed because stormy weather was one of the most iconic akumas, you know? she was the real beginning of ml and her budget allowed it to be hands-down the best animated episode. i already knew to not expect anything near that level, but to essentially just get a twenty minute webisode for her reappearance was very unsatisfying.

but you’re absolutely right. as a recap episode (since, with all the flashbacks, i wouldn’t even consider it a filler because at least we still get new content with those), i would hope that a significant change will be seen in the following episodes.

we definitely learned some things and solidified concepts that we weren’t entirely sure of (e.g. emilie’s eternal sleep), but i guess it’s just kind of sad that the writers had to specifically give us what felt like a windows movie maker episode that pointed out all the character development, something apparently necessary because it wasn’t coming across in their actual episodes.

i’m sorry if i’m coming across as too salty; i just really had high hopes for aurore’s reakumatization and we were honestly robbed. we got a volcano with a bunch of voiceovers at the price of chloe becoming absolutely insufferable again.
