What if Mouseshell’s dad is named Applesting not because he has a sharp tongue or is good at fighting but because he gets stung by bees all the time

I just had a BRILLIANT thought. Fennelmoth doesn't have a known baby daddy yet right?

What if the baby daddy is Wetwhisker's kid. Make him have to acknowledge his "ex", and also the fact that his kid ignored his request to please not interact with those particular children thank you

Wetwhisker freaks out because he worked so hard to get over her and now they're entangled again and oh no what if all his progress is ruined

and Mouseshell doesn't recognize him (again)

I think Wetwhisker would never realize that Mouseshell's "little brother" is actually her kit, and just thinks Applesting got pregnant somehow

oh he’s not her kit! He was just an abandoned kit that got attached to her because she was the first other cat he saw so he started following her and calling her mama, which made her uncomfortable

I get the confusion tho lol

now I imagine it would be the opposite. Wetwhisker is like “I know who he really is 🥹” and she’s like “no you don’t”

I have no specific character in mind for this but I just like the idea of someone doing the “can I try rizzing you up? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE” to Mouseshell

Some Wildkit concepts

I don’t know his backstory yet…was he a Dark Kit abandoned? Did he have a bad life and wound up in the Dark Forest that way? Was he nervous and afraid? Was he distrustful? What made him trust Mouseshell so much that he called her mom?

When Mouseshell does eventually have kits she probably finds out through a check-up with a healer (who she goes to because she gets into fights a lot for fun)

And the healer would tell her “you shouldn’t be fighting so much anymore.”

Mouseshell: “but it’s fun! I don’t mind the pain”

“Well, your kits might”

Mouseshell: “haha I don’t have any kits?”

“Give it two moons.”

I’ve decided on “Doebur didn’t know about her cousin’s crimes or that Mouse or Apple were in the Dark Forest” and they end up meeting while Doe is on the run and they’re both just like “tf are you doing here??”
