Los Campesinos! - “A Slow, Slow Death”

I wrote about this a bit on Instagram, but the show last night was even better than I’d hoped. Unfortunately Anaïs wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t go, but that was the only bad part. It’s actually such a big deal to me I’m not sure I can write about it right now? But the new songs were amazing (I’m so glad we got “The Fall of Home” in the encore), as was the No Blues stuff we’d never had the chance to see live before, as were all the songs we’d heard before. It’s was so nice to see my friend Julia in from Guelph and @purplechrain and @mousewhispers and her friend. Everybody in that room, crowd and band alike, is hoping it won’t be another five years before they can come back.
