“Just because you have super healing does not give you permission to do things you know are stupid!” She sighed and rested her head on his chest. “You say that, and then you go running into a singularity.”
“Running into the singularity wasn’t exactly a choice - it was go into it and save the place or allow everyone to die because of something that was my fault - I shouldn’t have trusted Wells - I mean Eobard, in the first place, he caused it to happen, and because of me so many people died - worrying about me should be the least of your concerns!”

She bolted awake and looked over to where Bart should have been, but he wasnt. He was on the floor screaming. She had never seen him like this before, in fact she was seeing him as more than just a shape, he had color and shadows. It was dark but it was easy to tell that something was different all together. She couldnt see his aura either. “ Bart? Whats happening? “ It took her a second to realize she couldnt hear IT or anyone else thoughts. She pulled her phone off the table and her gaze was fixed on her bare forehead. She started laughing, a laugh that bordered insanity. She was free, she didnt have that damn demon inside her anymore! “ IM FREE, IM FINALLY FREE “ She had forgotten about her love who was screaming on the floor. She forgot she was holding her phone. She just kept laughing. But not only was she free, she had her sight fully fixed too! This was a wonderful 3 am for sure.
“Help me help me waaah...” Mocked the voice, it’s laughter ringing in his ears. “You’re pathetic. Whine all you want, boy, but you’re still stuck with me. And I think I’m gonna like it here.” It chuckled menacingly, the sound of its amusement at his pain and fright blending in with another sound. Bart’s breath hitched in his throat as he tried to quiet his mind to listen. It sounded like Ciryke’s voice, but he’d never heard her laugh like this before. It was too high and too fast and too... unsettling. “C-Ciryke?” He gasped, turning his head towards her and flinching as a barrage of thoughts hit his mind. He felt... happy. Happier than he’d ever been before in his life, more relieved than he’d ever imagined possible. But wait, no, those weren’t his feelings, they were hers. It was as if her emotions and thoughts were being transmitted right into his brain like radio waves to a receiver. “Cir... whuh... what’s going on?” He stuttered, still struggling to see her in the ever present dark. But all he could see was a smudge of shifting shadows that wouldn’t focus no matter how hard he tried to make sense of them. As he watched her celebrate the pure joy of freedom, his heart pounded in his chest and he began to panic despite the oblivious happiness he could feel filling the room. He felt so sick. He was terrified to move because he couldn’t tell where the floor was anymore. His mind was too busy and too full. “Heh heh, this is better than television! You twerps are just priceless!” The voice cackled, and Bart grit his teeth.
“Go away! Get out of my head!” He commanded with a growl, although it came out as more of a desperate plea than he’d meant it to.
“Or what? You gonna come in here after me or somethin’? Good luck, dumbass!” The voice taunted, “Looks like you’re on your own, kid. Your pipsqueak little girlfriend doesn’t seem to give a shit about you right now, so for once we’re in agreement on something. You’d better get used to feeling afraid and powerless, because I can promise you you’re gonna feel a whole lot worse by the time I’m done with you. You’re nothing, little boy. You always have been and always will be. So why don’t you just sit back and let me drive for a bit? I’m clearly the best thing that’s ever happened to you anyways.” It sneered, and Bart shuddered and growled as he felt the presence in the back of his head stir and seethe, twisting like a snake around his mind.
“Rrrgh... I said shut up! Just shut up and leave me alone!” He shouted again, hugging his knees and clenching his hands tight around his wrists, trying to keep back the sobs choking in his throat. “Ciryke, please! Look at me! Help me!” Bart tried once again to get her attention. Whatever was happening, he knew he couldn’t face it on his own and he sure as hell didn’t want to try. “Please! I need your help!”

She shrieked playfully, backing away and holding her pillow like a shield.
He laughed, pushing it towards her hard but not too hard to the point where he would push her over. He leaned in to do so and accidentally fell over, flat on his ass.
“you know you will be punished for this…somehow…” she kept up the brave front, though noting the tools in his hand…she felt a sharp pang of pure fear.
“You act as if I would be caught. You won’t speak a word to anyone.. you won’t be able to.” chuckling as he set the tools down on a table next to the twili. Midna had always been a thorn in his side, he would enjoy making her scream.

She made big eyes at him. “You want to keep it a secret? Why? Are you /ashamed/? No one should be ashamed of their gaming.”
“No-one has to, I know, but I’d rather not have people know is all!”
“You’ll not attempt to move.” A demand in the soft force of her hand to his head, a bump the only injury. The gods were kind tonight, but even her concern rises once Kure had been mentioned. "Divulge his recent whereabouts and I shall locate him. Otherwise, you’ll not dare move, or do you wish to reopen the wounds fresh?”
The pot whistles then, the potion boiled to perfection. The concoction is ladled into a soup bowl, cooled by a single breath and offered to the mage. “Two bowls of this and you’ll be well to walk, but you are to rest soon after. I’ll not listen to any protests.”
Not that he planned on moving just yet, anyhow. He was too scared to , as even as he was now, the pain was too intense. Even a mere twitch would send a sharp circuit into his nerves from any of the six wounds, and when he remained still it remained no less than a dull throb.
He remained stark silent until given the bowl, and he'd stared into it for long enough to begin focusing beyond the swirling texture of the mixture at the vague outline of his own wearied face. All he wanted to do was find Kure, but-- no matter where he went, he was treated with the least respect of all. Even with the hood instead of a stupid pointy hat, he met such opposition. And now this... he didn't know if he'd been mugged, or the attacker simply didn't like what they were looking at. It made him sick... it made him think everyone might be like that, deep down. Even black mages themselves... "...Why are you even bothering..." he mumbled in a dry tone, still not having touched his lips to the bowl.
