George Lazenby went on to develop a real estate fortune. He remained in contact with Roger Moore and bumps into Timothy Dalton at British Consulate functions in Los Angeles. In 2002, during the series' fortieth anniversary celebrations, Lazenby attended the premiere of "Die Another Day" screened before Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Albert Hall. 'I wanted to meet the Queen, like everybody does.' When introduced on stage, Lazenby achieved closure, 'A sprinkling of people started to stand up and then everybody did. I got a standing ovation. That gave me goose bumps.'
