3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?
Some of the tropes I won’t touch ultimately depend on what I’m writing/reading. If I can find a way around what makes me uncomfortable with the trope, I can handle it. That said, as I mostly write for Dragon Age these days, I won’t touch any Mage/Templar romantic relationships. I don’t care if others like it, for me, it’s just a really uncomfortable thing and I’d rather not read or write it.
10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?
Under the Wings of the Hawke. :D
Despite my occasional complaining that I need to do ~research~, it’s been my smoothest fic to write and the first one that has gotten me into some semblance of a writing/updating schedule.
20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.
Fluffy blanket over my lap, but it’s not too cold, my cats aren’t bothering me (for whatever reason, they want to cuddle whenever I sit down to write). It’s quiet, either early morning, shortly after sunrise, or kind of late at night. No one and nothing bothers me for a while, so I’m free to just do my writing. I have either a glass of water or a cup of tea on hand. My brain isn’t moving a mile a minute on other projects/wandering to other thoughts that have nothing to do with what I’m working on.
38. Talk about a review that made your day.
I love all the reviews I get! <3
But, the one that I think I dwelt on the most was one that someone left in my inbox on Tumblr. They told me that Under the Wings of the Hawke was their favorite fic about Anders, and I was just floating for a couple days after. For that fic in particular, I also love it when people tell me I’m handling the kinky bits really well and the bits to do with mental illness because I spent a lot of time researching both.
