We the transgender, the gender non-confirmative, the asexuals, pansexuals, lesbians and gays, the bisexuals, the Queer of Women’s March around the world; we stand united more than ever in solidarity with our transgender sisters and brothers.
We are artists, workers, inventors, intellectuals and countless things more. We are diverse driving-forces of this world.
By challenging societies we aim to make the world a better, more inclusive and loving version of itself.
The burden is the overwhelming weight of the military budget in the world.
The burden is the existence of military organisations that reinforce the systems of oppression both internally and externally.
The burden is war, social injustice and the many militaries, dictators, governors and officials that are accountable for deaths, devastation, violence against women and LGBTQI and crimes against humanity.
The burden is the discriminatory laws, the violations of our civil rights.
We, the LGBTQI voices of Women’s March Global, we do not wish to be in your army. We do not want any armies in the world.
The U.S. spends nearly as much on its military as all other countries combined. We call for officials to #MoveTheMoney:
Towards equal workplace opportunities
Towards the protection of our lives and rights,
We call for all LGBTQI and allies to join us and take actions to force governments to #MoveTheMoney from War to Peace.
We know our power, and the incredible strength we share in communities across the world will be used to stand against military policies, hate speech and discriminatory policies.
To the governments, the armies, the oppressors, we say:
The shame is yours and yours alone to carry.
To all the transphobic of the world we say:
We will not be silenced and we are not ashamed.
