In a society that yearns for social change, disattachment to one’s consciousness to one’s being could lead to hipocracy and ignorance that leads to a failed community. Hence, a failed nation. And with such, the nation remains one underconstructrion rather than a project completed.
And with the infinite social issues in the way, it is difficult to see the light in the darkness. The shadows of Philippine history that the demons of the past brings upon the citizens as they are haunted not by the present leads to a pack full of zombies awaiting for the ‘social change’ expected of from the government. But we are forgeting that the government of the people is for the people and by the people and as such, it is theoretically impossible to achieve a nation other than that of failure if social change does not start within the society itself.
The people want social change - that is a fact. But if social mobility relies solely of that of the other rather than that of within, who would step up to achieve such greatness?
And with this, I say to you, act now. Regret Later. Because a life of chances is better than that of regrets.
