Sounds like these might have been U-matic, which are not listed on PeggyBank’s site as something they can transfer. But 12 months to transfer 2 VHS tapes sounds bad. Oh well, who the hell would use a service called PeggyBank anyhow? I guess that most people don’t have options for videotape transfer and just go with whatever they can find.
