Took me all day, but me and @tsubaki94 managed to get all my stuff up and in somewhat order yesterday!

All the shit that I'm taking with me to my new home.... And this is just from my mom's place lol.

Happy little moments from the last couple of days

My friend bringing over cute moving-in-gifts

The support we received from friends, be it via helping us carry heavy stuff on moving day or cheering me up via text messages

Riding the bus through my new neighborhood and being in awe of the beautiful urban villas

Sitting on a park bench in the park close to my new home and being in awe of the beautiful old trees and the cute stork couple

Cooking my first real meal in the new home (ebly salad)

Getting the full deposit back from the little penthouse which means I can make amazing plans for our 10th wedding anniversary

Watching the river from my balcony and the geese with their babies who are playing in the grass

My husband allowing me to buy my first print from annalauraart as a moving-in-gift to myself

The technician who came over to set up our internet being incredibly nice

Our old landlord being the most kind and thoughtful person ever and knowing that his well wishes came really from the heart

Being able to spontaneously buying a big new fridge (European standard big, mind you lol, but still!!)

Following Vincent van Gogh's advice and visiting a bookstore on a hard day

Strolling through my favorite organic food store and buying some of my favorite foods to cheer me up (apples! apples! apples!)

Not having to worry about money

Feeling completely taken care of by the Lord and my husband so I can focus on regaining my strength

Slowly starting to feel like a person again

Everything is in the new apartment, I cried five times (currently working on avoiding the sixth time), had two panic attacks, the heatwave is still going strong and I miss my cats for some reason BUT hey, the moving saga is coming to an end :')

Life gets stressful, I buy coconut water and ten kinds of supplements <3

Hilarious how all the girls understand that there is a difference between 'packing random kitchenware' and 'packing le creuset stuff' 😇😁 My casserole dish would survive World war 3 now:

Happy Sunday my friends ❤️ Last cake I'll make in our beautiful home with the large windows, kinda emotional about it. Change is beautiful though, and I remind myself to be glad that my biggest issue right now is being a bit scared of moving and nothing more serious :)

If anyone wants an awesome and very easy recipe for a rhubarb cake with Streusel, let me know and I'll add it!

Can't believe that I just placed my last seasonal scented candle order while living here 😭 I'm so grateful though that I get to take some familiar scents with me, ordered a new 'cognac & leather' one because I don't care if it's fitting for summer, it might soothe my anxious mind... Moving is hard :/
