The invisible queue

The concept of queuing up is quite common in many countries. And I am quite aware of this phenomena, since I moved to Helsinki from UK. Anyone who has been living in London, knows we queue up for everything. The main diff between a Finnish style of queuing and British/ any other country specific style of queuing is that the former one is completely invisible. They are for some reason quite aware of who came at what time but there ain’t any major line up. Take for an example of bus-stop, they are all scattered everywhere but somehow you remember who all were there before you arrived and hence you let those people go first and then you come in....   It is completely invisible but very diligent. They follow the system and if you don’t understand/follow the unsaid rule then they might quietly get offended, but at the same time are way too polite to say it out loud!!
