Music for Followers Redux
This was originally post I wrote a few years ago to collect some information about a music artist, Louis-Louise Kay, after gaining a larger following(there are like 32 of you people now), I decided to update the original post.
I found L-L K’s music when he was known as D.WIGHT, on the Soundodger+ Album/Soundtrack, particularly the tracks Outside Wars. I later went on to find some of his works on Soundcloud and his first full album, Escape Point, would be one of the first few I ever bought with my own money. Fast forwarding roughly 5 years later and I still listen to his music to relax and lower the weight.
From his Paris Career L-L K released the aforementioned Outside Wars, along with that on the Soundodger+ tracks was Waves From Nothing which can also be found as a single with its own album art in the the link above. He also released a special Christmas Track, Revolving Lights as a single.
He would then go on to release his first album, the Escape Point EP, in 2014. Following that was a small release on his soundcloud of the single Things I Can’t, which was part of the larger Apartment Sessions album by French record company Midnight Special Records.
As he moved away from Paris, he ended his career as D.WIGHT with two unreleased tracks, Clown! and Illbox.
After the move, he left his old persona behind and at the same time as the release of his unreleased tracks mentioned above, he released another free Christmas Single, With Your Eye’s Closed. along with it came a music video by Polish animator Renata Gasioroswka.
His largest and most recent album, No Answers No also came with a music video for the track Animals Used To Scare by French Animator Titouan Bordeau. Later on he would release extended live renditions of 6 of the the tracks from the album under the name Minimoon Session.
I collected a few articles for some light reading about his process and motivation as an artists that I think are a good read.

I also have a Google Docs Folder with all of the lyrics of his songs except for Things I Can’t.
Louis-Louise Kay has been a crucial part in my adolescence and I wouldn’t be the same person if it wasn’t for his music. I recommend this to all of you, whether you’re music aficionados who can appreciate the sound, Animation fanatics who can revel in the surreal and beautiful animations, or artists who can enjoy the equally surreal and stunning album art. I’m gushing here but I really hope some of you take a listen to his stuff.
