got my first fic down for moxtoberfest (out of seven or nine, i’m not sure yet). its misty/jackie pre-relationship fluff written for prompts 28 favorite halloween traditions.

“Thank you for your help today, Jackie. Means a lot to me.”

“Yeah, it’s no problem, chica. Had a lot of fun with it. Wouldn’t mind helping take it down either when it’s time. Just shoot me a text,” Jackie was quick to shrug off the appreciation, and Misty smiled over at him.

“I will do that,” she agreed. “Wow, I was so worried I wouldn’t get the decorations up in time.”

“Well, you had the whole month,” Jackie shrugged, but Misty shook her head without looking at him.

“No, gotta decorate on the first of October. It’s… a tradition. Been doing it since I was a little girl.”
