I love my son scaramouche, but I wanna talk about how the community draws him with puppet features.
Nothing wrong!! I absolutely adore that!
Is just that I think people knew right away he was a puppet because he looked like a puppet all those centuries ago.
But then Dottore made him join the fatui and experimenting and the abyss exposure changed his body.
Maybe it was a feature he already had, but I like to think the reason nobody knows Shogun is a puppet like people used to know Scara was, is because he made himself look human.
Was it enduring the pain of the experiments and the abyss not worth it if he could get a body closer to a god? It was.
So I like to think the Scara we know now after the Irminsul stuff doesn´t look like a puppet because of his exposure to abyss and experiments that supposedly didn´t happen. (but they did, he only forgot...and then remembered it again)
So he wouldn´t look like a puppet now, but if we go another way, we could say him “taking off” whatever it was that made him look more human in order to show himself as more puppet-like, is him making peace with his puppet status.
Sometimes I think about how uninteresting as a person I am and then I remember this friend I had that told me “You´ve so many interesting things to tell us about yourself. I wanna hear them” and yk? that kinda makes me feel like I´m not just a speck of dust passing by.
I guess I chose violence in my birthday and decided to be part of those weird tiktok debates that are interaction bait just to waste time and have something to keep my mind on, but I wanted to tell y´all something that Ive always found funny about talking about religion.
People are very set on the mindset that THEY are the ones that are right. What THEY believe in is RIGHT and everything else is wrong. A god creates us to...worship them, to live in the land it created for us and reproduce (us) their word.
When they´re not. They are wrong because there´s others claiming they are the ones who are right.
Its self exclusive when you bunch them up, so they try to make you think they´re the only ones who are right and correct.
In this debate I heard some very incredibly nice people who talked openly about being open to ideologies. They search information in all places and people and are open to understand them as the people they are. Maybe not believe in what they belive in, but simply let them be.
Now, the paradox of tolerance is one big dick and I want you to put it apart for this argument for a second. Just for the sake of this argument.
When people are not set into the mindset that they have to PROOVE they´re the ones who are correct, there´s no need to tell people you are either correct or wrong. There´s no judgement. Only acceptance.
When they try to make you read more and get into more of their ideology, they´re not inviting you to understand them, they´re trying to make you someone they can see as “correct”, trying to accept you, because you´re reading the same things they are reading. Sometimes in foolish hope that you “convert”.
So the understanding that others exist without needing to be told you´re correct or wrong in the context of your own ideas, means to accept there´s no “correct” way. There´s no such thing as a “wrong” way to live either.
We are living all together in this fucking orb, like why do you want to cause trouble with others so much in the name of love and peace and all that is good? It´s embarrassing.
making a sann chapter after ages and honestly writing sann being fed up with rob´s actions to the point he would *scream* at him sounds so ooc, but is actually what he was like before, and an attitude the man crushes so bad, he doesn´t really get *that* upset after.
A wanderer hero bids farewell to yet another world they save. They continue their travels, unaware of their own impact in that world. However, they won´t come back. That´s their own rule. And the inhabitants of that world know it, but grieve so much, they can´t bear to let them go.
So they create copies of the legendary hero. Dolls that resemble them in strength but not in mind. Some, the closest to the hero, try to get the dolls to act exactly like the hero, in an effort to have them back. Others, see the dolls´ potential as weapons.
There are dolls to sooth the grieving, and there are dolls who create disasters on their maker´s orders.
Those destructive dolls create chaos when the one they´re modeled after helped saved. This doesn´t escape some of the doll´s simple minds, but what can a simple doll do against their creators? Would they give up such a purpose in order to be more like someone who doesn´t even know about their existence?
And so, wars are won and lost with battles fought with identical dolls on each side. Centuries, pass by and the hero´s tale twists. Millenia after, the heroics of one wanderer have become myths of an evil entity who reproduced in their own image to bring discord to the world.
Nobody remembers the original story besides the oldest dolls. Half broken, their appearances changed or locked into basements to be protected. The dolls who spent their times trying to be the wanderer they resembled in strength and mind by hearing their closest companions tell their stories. After millenia, those dolls stop hiding and clenching their empty chests, they go outside to clean their reputation.
One of those dolls encounters an ancient soldier doll in their journey.
That doll was created for war. To be used and discarded when it shattered. So the doll that was meant to heal wounds by those that leave behind others can´t stop themselves from trying to help it.
Both dolls had an original they took after, and while both had questions for them, neither could get answers from someone who wasn´t there anymore. There was no point to be like them. So, can this two dolls really give a proper meaning to their existance, if not based on someone else´s?
never really getting past the fact I wrote Sarahi buying Albus to be creepy and crave proximity so badly but having the moral compass of a compass with a magnet taped to it, so while she vaguely understands what she is doing is wrong, there´s stuff she does that is actually kind YET expects to be rewarded by that with an actual bond when all she does is control. Like
She really said “I want you to be part of my family”
and Albus, who was already saving enough money to buy his contract back while also paying for Sann´s:
