For the daycare thing, you mentioned Caroline had to go there once. I don't know if this is when Chell is there or not but I'd imagine it'd be very awkwar either way.

Omg yes definitely. She probably would’ve stared Chell down and stayed as far away from her has possible. I bet she constantly sent Chell out on errands (without giving her very clear instructions—more like ‘deliver this file to [name here] without telling Chell where the person was located)

 Wow oh no now it’s looking really cute in my mind. I’m just picturing Chell laughing to herself as she dives around a corner, or her getting up on her tiptoes to glance into a lab.

For your Hell's Peak Academy AU I was wondering which students do and don't wear their regular outfits? Or in the AU, do they have uniforms? There aren't a lot of references for the characters available, sorry to bother you. OTL

First, a disclaimer: all I can give you are my kneejerk ideas, but I'm easily convinced by other people's good ideas. So if you do something cool with it, there's a pretty good chance I'll make it canon! None of this is set in stone.

Spoilers for DR/SDR2 under cut!

For the most part, the students who can feasibly wear their canon outfits do. Those who don't:

Mondo (he's almost always just naked)

Maizono (but she can also just wear whatever and you wouldn't be able to tell lbr)

Souda (just wears a t-shirt)

The Swindler

Otherwise, there are a few who don't wear their canon outfits because of cultural differences:

Nidai (he almost never wears a shirt)

Sonia, maybe, because she'd probably want to wear a Japanese girl's school uniform to truly experience the culture (or things like yukata)

Yamada, who wore his finest dwarven clothes to school

Sakura, though she tries and rips things a lot

Asahina (she tends to wear things that are more along the lines of swimsuits and wraps with beautiful jewelry made from materials scavenged at home, like kelp, shells, bones, beads, driftwood, teeth; she always has her pelt with her as a shawl or scarf or something)

Owari, sort of (showed up in stereotypical valkyrie garb but quickly found modern clothing to be more appealing. Still wears her winged headdress in class to be obnoxious.)
